• A Home Health Aide is a person in the house interacting and being social. They help manage the household and take care of your loved one.  They will work with you or your loved one by providing the following services:



  • Companionship and socialization
  • Monitor diet and meals
  • Assistance with walking and mobility
  • Organizing
  • Dressing (includes clothing selection assistance)
  • Being an attentive listener and encouraging your loved one to talk
  • Watching for behavior changes that signal sadness, confusion or memory loss
  • Identify any immediate medical concerns and coordinate with the family
  • Light housekeeping (dust, sweep, vacuum, etc.)
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Garbage removal
  • Plan, prepare, and clean-up meals
  • Linen change, make the bed
  • Meal preparation and assistance
  • Assistance with personal hygiene
  • Assistance getting dressed or changed
  • Bathing (stand-by assistance or hands-on help)
  • Medication reminders
